Une coupe de champagne?
Not all the stalls at the brocante on the 1st May sold junk. This one specialised in silver. This beautiful bowl was on sale for 2700 euros - I didn't ask if the champagne was included - anyway what you see here is doubtless sparkling white wine and not the real thing.
Wow. Silver plate? Or the real thing. It looks great to me. Somebody must have lost some money at Monaco. I wonder if it sold. You sure took a nice photograph of it and it would also look good in a travel magazine.
ReplyDeleteI am anxious for you to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.

ReplyDelete2700 Euros. That translates, I think, to about $3300. A bottle of champagne would be a nice lagniappe.
