The Cool-down

This ice-cream parlour is in the middle of the walking street of Menton. Good ice-cream too! What's your favourite parfum (flavour)?

  1. That would be Cookies & Cream, or a simply a good Vanilla.

  3. I love a good ice cream. Especially the gelato places with the really interesting flavours. When I was a kid, there was a local place that carried black licorice ice cream and that was my favourite for a while. More recently, I have had yogurt and frutti di bosca combo which is a little on the tart side, but just what I am favouring these days.

  4. Don't they all look so cool and pretty sitting there eating their ice cream.

I'd forgotten the french word for hazelnut till I was reminded above by Alina. I like that flavor too, and black walnut.

  5. I once had the best flavour ever(gelato) in Florence. Sadly I do not remember the name of it and have never been able to find it ever again! :0(

They all look so dignified eating their ice cream with the little spoons. I must confess that I would no doubt have tossed those spoons and would have started just licking! :-D

  6. I like coffee ice cream, but we have a local ice cream shop that occasionally makes Guinness ice cream which is amazing. (Yes, made from the Irish Stout. They warn that it contains alcohol.)

Did you know that in Australia, it is practically illegal to play pétanque without a glass of wine in the other hand ?

  8. French vanilla is my favorite. It is so much richer than vanilla.

  11. Then again, why should we have to choose only one when we can get four flavours for 4 Euro? ;-)
