Here we are looking down on the village of Sainte Agnès. I'm about half way up the track to the ruins of the château. To the right of the photo, you can see the cemetery. That in itself is higher than the village. Come back tomorrow and share the walk with me. It's steep!
And I thought the village itself was high up! Now we find out that there are higher levels: the cemetery and the château at the top. That would be the top, right? Nothing higher, I hope?
ReplyDeleteOh Jilly c'est trop trop beau. J'adore ces petits villages nichés au fond des vallées.
ReplyDeleteI might climb that far to get to Heaven but never that high for a picture.
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed trop, trop, beautiful. Just look at those zig zag roads going up the hill.
ReplyDeleteCan we see the restaurant, Le Saint Yves, from this vantage point ?
I think that a Welsh Corgi could be used to pull you up these hills. They have such powerful little legs !
Very nicely done. I hope you were on an observation platform and not risking your life for our enjoyment.
ReplyDeleteThe town it's a jewel.
ReplyDeleteWow, this view is absolutelly amazing! Lucka
