Autumn days on the Côte d'Azur - here we are on a pebble beach in Roquebrune-cap-Martin looking towards Menton and Italy. This was taken a month ago. To see the sea two days ago please take a look at Monte Carlo Daily Photo.
Let's all hope that the sea will be this blue next August. You can then take a shot of me... In the Mer Méditerranée... J'espère ainsi... Ce serait la poésie...
Mmmm, wishing I were here! The cold mistral is blowing our ears off, can't think of wanting to put my bathing suit on.
But Jilly, if I may comment on the picture, you should have framed the umbrella in full! A little less sky up the top and a little more beach at the bottom would have been perfect!
A beautiful blue for November 1! Love the umbrella.
ReplyDeleteEt moi, aussi, Jilly.

I had a wonderful swim from this beach only four days ago. No chance of loosing any weight, however, what with the entries for 12 and 21 October !
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. I have heard that there was a "microclimat" in Menton. They said that this morning on RMC.
ReplyDeleteWow. How lovely to sunbathe in October. 3 degrees here!
ReplyDeleteNow that is what I call blue! :) Lovely!

Jilly I also wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your previous food posts: the bread rolls and variety of mushrooms were a special treat!
ReplyDelete...big sigh!
ReplyDeleteSorry to say, Nathalie; down here there is no such wind, and next week in Sydney I may just take a shot of Bondi for you. Take that as a promise.
ReplyDeleteThe only bad part for me is those darn rocks....I prefer sand. However, the blue looks so swimable!
