Waves

Another photograph from yesterday. Today's Nice-Matin talks about a 'spectaculaire coup de mer' - with the wind reaching 125 kilometres per hour. That's unusual for us, hence front page news in Nice-Matin today!

In fact, today's weather, whilst still cold, is wonderful. Bluest sky again, hardly any wind, so tomorrow - back to the beach in Roquebrune and those paragliders.

  3. Wow, rough surf indeed. I guess you guys have similar weather as we do here in NYC.

  4. Wow, Jilly, those waves look like Tropical Storm material. At least that is what we would call it over here in Florida, USA. It's been nice to catch up on your photos. You have great pictures and wonderful narratives.

  5. Wow - very impressive!!

We had a huge storm here last night and half of the town has no phone -lines, computers or power!!! Luckily we escaped and have only lost our cable TV. I can hear thunder - maybe there is another one coming!!!

  7. C'est spectaculaire, en effet. Ca ne ressemble pas à la Méditerranée habituelle, n'est-ce pas?
