Roquebrune village - 10

A pretty corner of rue Pié. The plastic bowls are, presumably, for the local cats. Rue Pié and rue Moncollet are the two oldest streets in the village.

    First I wished to move to Menton, now this quaint little village is a tempting new possibility! I love your story about the impasse from "Roquebrune village -9"...ah the good old days!

    Wow. Now that is what I call old and beautiful. :)

    I'm intrigued by the fact that they have bars on the windows. Is it purely for decoration or is it to deter burglars?

    In any event those window bars and on the railings are so intricate and pretty.

    This is so quaint! Love the cat bowls and the ironwork is both decorative and functional, I suspect. We definitely have to visit these two streets Jilly!
