Roquebrune village - 12

This look-out and tiny picnic area has always fascinated me. It belongs, so far as I can tell, to a house just out of shot. We are standing, leaning over the railings at the main square of the village - the Place des Deux Frères. It overlooks Cap Martin to the left and Monaco to the right.

  1. I think you must have very good legs to live in Roquebrune, so many stairs and steps! Wonderful view, as usual.

  6. OMG - that little area is so gorgeous! If they can afford to have that lovely little area - I can't imagine what the house must look like!

Oh, to just be able to take a good book up there with some wine, cheese, and bread...what a delight that would be.

You know they could make a fortune renting that little spot by the hour!

  7. Gorgeous, Jilly, absolutely gorgeous. I love this series on Roquebrune.

Was in Marseille today, went to the calanque of Sormiou, but the weather was wet and grey, nothing like the deep blue of your photo. Enjoyed seeing the sea nevertheless.
