Fête du Citron: Corso - Confetti!

It wasn't until I read Fabrizio's Torino Daily Photo today that I realised it's International Women's Day. Takes a man...

And so, inspired by Fabrizio's beautiful photograph of a little girl (do click on the link) here you see fun and games with confetti at the Corso. May these girls grow up to achieve their full potential.

Tomorrow - meet the clowns!

  2. Ah, future women! I, too, worked in a sentence for my post after reading Fabrizio's blog and a few others. Children make a great statement for our future, don't they?!

  4. Well, they snuck that Day in didn't they? I didn't know about it either. I love the wonderfully unguarded poses of these little girls, so intent are they on throwing their confetti in the right direction. Wonderful capture, Jilly.

  6. This photo reminds me of the pleasure it was,to throw those "confettis" at carnavals...and it seems these little girls ar having the same fun!!
Now the confettis are much more sophisticated...when I used them they only had a round shape!!

  12. Great post, Jilly. I didn't have a good photo to post so I skipped the day. Shame on me, because I do think Woman's day is important. So many women today still don't enjoy the freedoms we have...

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and for the birthday wishes. I am very touched by your thoughtfulness. Sorry for the late reply - as I spent my birthday (Women's Day) and the day after painting our new home and didn't come home until past midnight.

By the way, when you get the chance please visit I, Woman which is my newest blog.
