Walk to the Corso - 2

It's around 1.30 and we are walking to the Corso. Some people are lunching in a restaurant, some on the beach, some are simply sunbathing. These four photographs were taken with 15 minutes of each other yet people have rather different ideas as to how warm it is!

  2. ooh they all look like wonderful ways to be spending the day. I like the concept of the photo. Maybe we could do that for theme day. 4 activites in a lunch hour...

  4. LOL @ Jim's comment! And Mo's theme day idea is great, yes.

    What a gorgeous place.

  5. Good observation. I think the young are able to stand a little cool air much better than those who are older.
    That water looks just wonderful.

  6. An interesting collage. The four photos together tell a larger story. I especially like the idea of a meal by the sea.

  11. I think it depends if they're locals or tourists ;-)
Nothing nicer than a good meal alfresco.

  17. I've noticed that many Northern Europeans can sunbathe in weather I find freezing...so it's understandable why some are more dressed than not.

  18. Wow...from sweaters to swim suits. Lol :)

  19. Surely Spring is in the air and , yes, the Melbourneites have arrived.
They probably could not read the sign !!!... but they would not have seen a beach as nice as this one.
    (Just joking ?)

  20. My husband and I had the chance to stay in Menton for a week during the 2006 Lemon Festival. We spent more than we should have whiling away the time at "The Big Boss".

In fact, last year a girlfriend and I stopped in for coffee on our way to Ventmiglia. We sat on the patio, just to other side of the entrance.

Your photo of this makes me miss it even more!

  21. Did you think it was hot or cold? It certainly looks warm enough for T shirt and shorts.
