Everyone proudly poses in front of their cars. Here you see grandfather, daughter and grandchild in front of their MG - obviously a newer model than the one we saw the other day, but still a minimum of 25 years old - as are all the cars are at this concours.
What a great series of photos, Jilly, the cars, the flowers, the people. I've really enjoyed all of it.

ReplyDeleteThere is something irrestibly Meditererranean about these photos and this event, and probably evocative of the Riviera especially. Somehow I always imagine it trapped in this time warp of the 60's - don't ask me why. Of course all the open air cars contribute to the impression
ReplyDeleteVery sweet but perhaps that baby is too old for a dummy/pacifier. I once went out with a boy who drove one of these and it was red too. Actually, make that 2 boys - different cars!!
