An old lady admiring a baby - it's universal, isn't it? Village, town, city - anywhere in the world. It happens to be in the Medieval village of Gorbio. I did crop the village noticeboard but thought it better left in - gives a feel of the village.

What a lovely photo. As soon as I saw it, I thought, "universal..." - then read your comment (grin).
ReplyDeleteUniversal is right! This scene plays out in town after town all over the world! You do such a great job capturing people doing everyday things, and making them fascinating to watch! Bravo!
ReplyDeleteune belle photo traditionnelle. on est toujours un peu neuneu devant un bébé ;o).
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice photograph.
ReplyDeleteIt is universal. My husband's grandfather would sit back, watch the babies play (or fuss - it didn't matter!), smile and say "That's what life's all about, isn't it?"
ReplyDeleteWe have wonderful baby news! Our daughter shared with us recently that she is expecting and as a result Connie and I will be grandparents for the first time in November ... We are a lot like this lady in our admiration of all babies as we wait for our grandchild.
ReplyDeleteA photo full of life... a story, this is very very nice.
