How many of these film stars do you know?
(Thankyou so much for everyone who has visited. Apologies for not commenting over the last few days. I'm in Turin - which is fabulous! - home by the weekend)

I think I see Bette Davis. The rest must be European stars.
ReplyDeleteCould that possibly be Ingrid B. and Vivian L.?
ReplyDeleteIs the top middle Bob Hope? I am so bad at these.
ReplyDeleteWow, such a wonderful collection of the old photos, nice!
ReplyDeleteIs that Gregory Peck in the top right hand corner?
ReplyDeleteLucky, lucky you, to be in Turin, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like Anna Magnani above Bette Davis, and Jean Arthur on the lower left.
ReplyDeleteI actually got to see Bette Davis at work on location in Mendocino in 1977. She was filming a TV movie with Gena Rowlands. Didn't meet her though.
Quite a number of names can be read when you click on the photo. It's a good collection. Like a 20th century version of a blog site!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jilly, how wonderful! Bette Davis is about it for me.
ReplyDeleteI found old scrapbooks of my mom's after she pssed. I love looking at them. Whose is this?
Turin! :-) Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI think I only recognize Bette Davis too. Her "little too old to pull off that little Betty Bop" look is classic.
