If you want to know why the boy on the right is looking fed up - look at the photo below which was taken one lick before...

Momma got the most. No wonder the kid looks like he lost his best friend.

I really like the top image and how each boy is contemplating their cone.

And I see something completely different.

In the lower picture, the boy is concentrating so on his phone call that his ice cream is about to slip off the cone. Note the precarious angle of the scoop on his bother's cone as well.

Mama has just saved the remaining ice cream from landing on the pavement. And probably had a sharp word along the lines of "Pat Attention."

In the upper photo, he is stinging from the rebuke. And his brother is trying not to laugh -- note the tight little smirk.

  6. They are gorgeous photos Jilly. Mum or Nana? I think she was taking advantage of his temporary loss of concentration perhaps.

  9. Love it! Never talk on the phone while licking your ice cream; you're easy prey.

  10. Poor kid. He looks like he is wondering if the cone is still any good now. I bet the ice cream won out and he finished the cone.
