No, it's not Menton - it's Turin - (just for one day) - but as it's Spring and love is everywhere, it could be Menton! Not sure what it is about those Italians tho - you can hardly turn a corner in Turin without young love manifesting itself.
This photo is for Fabrizio. He has been showing several 'love in the Spring' photos recently and I couldn't resist this one. It was taken in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the largest piazza in Europe. If you click on the link you can see the whole square on Torino Daily Photo.
I spent four wonderful days in the beautiful city of Turin and on one evening Fabrizio was my guide - and what a guide! He so adores his city, his enthusiasm is infectious, his knowledge is phenomenal. A fabulous evening - thank you so much, dear Fabrizio.

Wow. Well, she is having problems with her drawers and he is having other problems from the looks of it. It is a nice photograph that truly shows the beginning cycle of life.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good way to spend a spring day. I must try it myself one day!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you decided to show it even if not taken in Menton. As you said, love is love but I'd like to add that eye is eye and your eye it's absolutely great.
ReplyDeleteI would like that Isabella may read that I took care of you (as she recommended to me) but I also would like to spend more wonderful time with you.
P.S. Jilly, I really don't deserve all those compliments.
Well, he'll be luckier than the bloke on the beach at Monte Carlo.
ReplyDeleteGlad you spent such a great time in Torino, - Fabrizio takes wonderful photos too.
Ha! This behavior is exactly what I read in "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. When she was in Rome, she said the young Romans were seen kissing and making out on public benches.
ReplyDeleteAnd you just showed us the proof. ;-)
Am so glad to hear you met up with Fabrizio. Meeting fellow bloggers can be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteIt's a common affliction indeed - thank god. And pleasant to see, always.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fabulous image of the most natural thing in the world
ReplyDeleteI want a snuggle too!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful catch :)
Hope you had a great time in Italy.
ReplyDeleteIt must have ben fun to have a wonderful guide in Torino.
A Nice hug..."Spring is in the air"!!
Oh my goodness, they need to get a room. LOL.
ReplyDeletelol @ Abe's comment. I hadn't noticed the drawers, but my first thought was, "My but he looks uncomfortable in that position" LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteMy second thought, of course, was that this is a wonderful sighting Jilly. Love the black and white.
Nice to be reminded that the world keeps turning. Also nice to hear of your Torino meet-up. I imagine you in one of those vintage open cars, in white, winding your way through the mountains...
ReplyDeleteOh, that's gorgeous.....I think Italy has the best, best 'coupling' moments - even better than France. I once watched a whole romance begin in the main piazza of Bologna....aaaaah.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a guide to Turin - at night! Fabrizio does some of the best night time shots of any blogger....what a rare treat!
Can't stay too long - am setting up 5 weeks of "Draftblogger" for the adventure coming up! Stay tuned ...
I'm thrilled for you Jilly that you were able to spend some time in Turin and meet up with the fabulous Fabrizio. I adore his winter photos and I'll have to pop over now to see his "love in the Spring" collection.
ReplyDeleteNice shot, B&W gives it a timeless quality. What I wouldn't give to be in his shoes:)
ReplyDeleteVery romantic!
ReplyDeleteIt must be world wide that girls show their underwear on all sides of the world! what a hoot....cute photo.
ReplyDeleteNice shot of an intimate moment. Cheers...
