The medieval village of Gorbio - and a wedding. Here the happy couple, Patricia and Walter, have just left the Eglise Saint Bathélémy. Come back over the next days - we'll go into the church, we'll meet some of the guests, we'll watch the kids play and we'll drink champagne - in fact, what most people do at weddings.
Wonderful picture, I love the guitar players.
ReplyDeleteNice photography, Jilly. Were you approached to do the photos for the wedding?
ReplyDeleteNo, Abraham, there was an official photographer and video-ographer, if there is such a word! I didn't even know about this wedding, until my friend Sheila, who lives in the village called to tell me to get my skates on and drive up. I live two and a half kilometers below the village. It was all great fun.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jilly...pretty one, here!
ReplyDeleteBTW...pse greet Sally from Sydney for me!
Ohhhhh - I so love weddings.
ReplyDeleteI will bring them a present from PNG - maybe a stone axe or a beautiful basket??
How romantic, love the action, the group. The bride is nice and tasteful, fashions come and go and strapless is de rigueur in these parts at present.
ReplyDeleteHope you have bon health again!
I posted a wedding couple today too. I captured them at night though. Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of eveyone streaming out! Nice.
ReplyDeleteI really love "series" of photo where you go on for a while posting photos concerning that series. Great Job Jilly
