The reception in the village square. Actually this was simply a champagne and nibbly bits reception. Later everyone went down to La Pinede, the restaurant over the water in Cap d'Ail, for the reception proper.

I like where you stood to take this, getting the grapevine in, and the flags. The men have their little group, the trio of ladies. beautiful old buildings, nice clothes, I'm guessing the food was wonderful & the wine flowed.
ReplyDeleteGreat series of the wedding with lovelly balconys!
ReplyDeleteI agree I love where you stood and took this photo. What a great place to have a non-formal reception. They even have a few neighbors enjoying it from their windows.
ReplyDeleteChampagne and nibbly bits sounds like just what I need. My invitation must have been lost... 8^)
ReplyDeleteGiven the weather we've had here on the Cote d'Azur weren't they lucky to have had sunshine. Can't bear to think of champagne diluted with rain water!
ReplyDeleteI love a good party and this looks wonderful.Lucky it was a nice day!
