Summertime in Menton - the Pink Beach Towel
Here's a longer shot of yesterday's photograph. We are on one of Menton's dog beaches - a pebble beach. Not all of Menton's beaches have pebbles. Les Sablettes, Menton's biggest beach, which is at the foot of the Old Town, has sand - and like this one, it's also a public beach.
The Golden Retriever and the Labrador playing in the sea, can be seen - in other shots and in close-up - by clicking on each link.

Wow - I hope melanoma doesn't pay this young lady a visit!
ReplyDeleteil y a plus de chiens que de maitre sur cette plage. Il doit faire beau, vu le bronzage de la dame.
ReplyDeleteThe Lab and Golden were our friends from an earlier post right? I just adore those two. Too bad Toots is sleeping and missing all the fun!
ReplyDeleteSo many items of natural display within this shot. A day at the beach in the south of France with everyone on stage. The beauty of the women is very evident as her world is within her book. C'est bon!
ReplyDeleteCute one Jilly. Um hey, the dog has his own beach towel with his ball and chew toy, but of course wants to be right next to Mom!
ReplyDeleteCa alors, des chiens sur la plage ? Dans la région de Montpellier, c'est interdit..... For decades I went to the beach every year as soon as the sun became a little bit warm but now I would be unable to spend another in the sun..... The weather is so nice in New England!
ReplyDeleteNice shot Jilly. I think the little dog is the real star!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely how dogs love to have that littermate contact, if they can. I suppose it's a way to monitor any action while catching a few winks.
