Summertime in Menton - the Prince
Watering the hanging pots the other day, who should pop out and jump on the plastic support of another pot, but a frog. He lives in the right hand pot you see in the smaller photo.
Do you think if I kiss him he'll turn into my Prince?

A prince? Maybe yes, maybe no. But this is a fine photo for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, Jilly! How fun! I would have jumped through the roof! When we were in FL, I was walking the dogs and a baby frog jumped out of the bushes. . . scared me to death. . .not that I'm afraid of frogs. . .just that it came from nowhere.

In answer to your question on my blog: no, both the Republican and Democratic Conventions are held in different cities prior to the national elections. Cities bid and vie with one another to land the reservation since it means increased revenue. The host cities supposedly have facilities (restaurants, hotels, large meetings halls, etc.) that are attractive. Apparently St. Paul planned and bid for both parties and promised to take the first one that made a decision, if we were chosen. It'll be fun for some people but a nightmare for others (police and people trying to get to work, etc.) So, that's the story.
