It won't be long before the sun sets over Solenzara Beach. That's Cap Martin in the distance - and beyond that you'd find Monaco. But let's stay here...
Anonymous, it's very near! Just walk down to the sea from Carnoles station - turn left, I think, to come to the beach. You'll see the sign for the Solenzara restaurant and the beach is by there.
Just looking at your photos, I'm so jealous. We have been checking out Menton Daily Photo since early this year and went on holiday to Menton in July. Such a lovely place. The weather you get is fantastic. We in Scotland have had nothing but rain nearly all summer. Thank goodness for our holiday. I will definately go back. Love these photos.
Jilly, I just come back from Menton where our family have passed our holidays. It wasn't so deserted in August! How could I resist to pass you on an award?! We get a same passion, no? MENTON.
Is this sandy beach far from Carnoles train station?

ReplyDeleteI'm still laughing over some of the "thong" comments. This lovely, peaceful sunset's more my thing.
