Summer's End - the Squirrel

Last weekend, Menton held the 18th Journées Méditerranéennes du Jardin on the Esplanade Francis Palmero, which is by the sea and at the foot of the Old Town - a beautiful setting. 50 exhibitors - plants, decoration, garden furniture - all fabulous and all asking to be bought. And packed with visitors and dogs and kids.

How about a squirrel that sprouts greenery? Not quite up to Abraham's amazing standard, I know you'll agree, but this one's for you, Abe.

  2. I wish the end of summer meant the end of squirrels in my yard. I would rather have this mossy guy.

  3. What an adorable little guy! I enjoy watching the squirrels in my yard. They are like little circus performs, jumping from limb to limb, it's amazing they don't miss!

  6. Cute, cute. My daughter's dog loves to chase squirrels and caught one once. This one would be easy to catch!

  8. It is a rare beauty all decked out in a heavy coat for winter. I like it and wonder how long this took to create. A most unusual post as was yesterday which I like.

I published a story about wildlife and squirrels and a gold finch and how they suffer right beside us and we never notice. I wish you would take the time to read it.
