That green works beautifully against the pinky red of the house.

Re my footprint photo today, yes there's a bit of post processing involved. My good friend Photofiltre helped me remove the legs and just keep the feet!!!

This photo is so nice. I love the color but especially like the lovely curtain with the lacy edge peering out.

Shucks. What happened to the girls? I am almost 74 years old already and time itself is getting shorter. I got some of these outside and we never called them succulents. I saw those on the post the other day. I will tell you what these are called. We called them this all through the World War II years. They are "hens and chickens."

Honest. Hens and chickens are what they are over here where I live.

We used to call these "cat and kittens." In any case, they're lovely, with the terra cotta color.

That's what I miss when I come back from Menton : Sun of course, and also COLORS! When I'm fed up with the grey, I look at your blog, and it reminds me how happy I 'll be at the next holidays.

Sweet colors and a feeling of summer warmth in this lovely capture! I adore the lace edge and tassels of the curtain within and the curve of the iron without. Thanks for capturing this small, very pleasing scene for us!
