The bread reminds me of our West Virginia Mountain Bread called "Pan Bread" as it is baked in a skillet in the oven and is meant to last all day. Tear off what you want from a community loaf of pan bread. Butter in a bowl freshly churned from the cow out back.
what a sweet and kind look on his face. i would buy bread from him, wish him a good day, head to a cheese shop, head to a wine shop, find a nice scenic place and enjoy.
I've recently seen a painting by Monet, of Menton, from a distance, in an exhibition in Sydney. Some outstanding works were a treat and were mostly on loan from Boston.
Oh, NUM! I wish I could buy it right now since I just rolled out of bed and am thinking about breakfast. I'm inspired. Shower first and then the bakery. Delicious photo!
