An easy Theme Day this month. 'Lines' can be interpreted in so many ways - here you see lines of beads in a curtain at the foot of the Old Town of Menton. The lines of the building, the tiles, the spiky plants - even more lines.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how 164 other City Daily Photo bloggers have interpreted today's Theme and know all will be fascinating. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

Les lignes sont partout au sol sue les portes et dans les plantes

My words also interpreted. Yours is a lovely choice and so in keeping with the area.
ReplyDeleteBead curtains like this one are so inviting! Calming, too.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely entry and great choice for theme day.
ReplyDeleteYou have really nailed it Jilly.
ReplyDeleteA plethora of lines, and evocative colours and textures to top it off!!!
In addition to lines your photo has a lot of good points as well. Especially in the plant on the right and I suspect in the cactus as well (smile).
ReplyDeleteCurved lines, straight lines, vertical lines, and horizontal lines...lots of variety. I'm still on self-imposed sabbatical, but have returned for theme day. Come visit!
ReplyDeleteI love all the lines too, especially the exploding green ones. As always, a beautiful photo.
ReplyDeleteI have a similar photo of some spiky plants similar to these for another post. I like this scene. Does not look like France but certainly a warm tropical place. Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThis must be a paradise on earth - what a beautiful place and the plants look healthy and happy.
ReplyDeleteI'm not always crazy about beaded curtains (they can easily be so gaudy), but this one is understated and looks lovely with all the plants.
ReplyDeleteLove your interpretation of the theme!
that is a very intersting
ReplyDeleteI counted 12 types of lines on this photo...
ReplyDeleteYou have plenty of choice... lines in the tiles (my favourite), lines in the curtain, in the pipe... Take your choice!
You are right, lines could be find everywhere. Nice intrepetation.

ReplyDeleteThey are the first one and may be the only ones!
A very nice interpretation! I would like to come in and meet the inhabitant, this entry is so welcoming.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you, Jilly. This month's theme is pretty easy. We are literally surrounded by lines in our lives and your photo illustrates this very well.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I like the pointed leaves on the left.
Great lines! I really liked this theme because it is so open to interpretation. Yours is so creative.

Almost all things with form have lines of some sort. Only just now thought about that. Lovely combination of edges in the photo ...
ReplyDeleteIndeed, lines everywhere you look
ReplyDeleteHi Jilly! I'm a cactus lover and appreciate the plants in the photos, as well as the lines. I missed some of your great people photos over the last few days! I'll have to get the courage up to take people photos. :)
