I look at a photo like this and wonder why anyone would live anywhere but Menton. But if we all lived there it wouldn't be nearly as pretty! I crave a visit.
It all looks so crytsal clear. Great idea about framing that sculpture photo - I will get on to it! In the "good old days" of film I used to frame some of my best pics and have stopped doing that now you can see them on the computer screen. And it's so much easier to do it yourself nowadays!
I wonder where they are going and what their day was like?
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing they are heading towards a cafe.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo to illustrate Thoreau's quote. I have a Thoreau widget on my blog and posted a "book" photo for him on Nov.1st.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a beautiful spot for such a walk!
ReplyDeleteA walk could lead to a swim very easily; it can't be too cold for a quick swim!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful. How do you say it in French? C'est Magnific? It's been awhile since I took french.

ReplyDeleteQuelle belle photo, si fraîche. J'ai l'impression de respirer l'air de la Méditerranée depuis le Connecticut.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous walk it must have been. Will definitely brighten my day anytime. Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteHi Jilly,

What a lovely picture, I bet the air was fresh and clean, a far cry from the November mist here in England, Freda
ReplyDeleteSea in the cold season is fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThe air looks so clean and crisp in your photo. If only there were a webcam where you were standing...
ReplyDeleteSuperbe lumière avec cette chaussée humide
ReplyDeleteUn bon moment pour se promener sur le remblais
Better France on a cold day than the Uk on a hot day.
ReplyDeleteoh my, I want to tag along with them. Your water is soooo gorgeous. How many times have I said that!!!!

ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the birthday wishes.
Yes, this is a terrific illustration of that quote. I like the couple's placement . . . the water under their feet . . . what a way to start a day.
ReplyDeleteWith your photos you succeed to render this city charming!!
