The Blue Bench

A narrow street in the Old Town. A garden on the walls of this old house. A painted bench.

If you don't have a garden, create one.

  1. And with your mild winters, these crassulas can be let outiside all year long...Here, in Brittany, I take some risks with delicate plants, one year I win, one year I lost!
Great contrast between stone, green and bright blue.
Something green for you today in Arradon ;-)

  2. This is a riot of growth, Jilly. And a lot of incestuous propagation has occurred too, by the looks of it.

  3. What is it about the colour of blue or turquoise (as in our Southwest) that is so compelling?

  6. some nice touches of invention here. The green teapot planter above the blue bench, an egg or garlic basket, a green watering can above the teapot. There's a ceramic head near the door.

  7. the walls and the flower boxes are very similar to our own old walled town - it's very difficult to maintain these properties, but the truth is that they are very pretty

  8. How inviting Jilly. Love the blue bench and color-coordinated "11". I thought at first that was the occupant peering through the greenery!

  11. It's lovely when people do this. Vertical gadensa are as joyous as spread out horizontal ones.
