Village Wedding Revisited (29) - the Handsome Couple
Remember the village wedding in Gorbio? Yesterday's photograph of little Lisa was taken that day and it reminded me I have so many more photographs, not yet shown. As it was, I posted for 28 days - please look at June/July if you missed it.
At the time I thought I'd posted enough but I know it was a well-received series - so let's go back and meet a few more people. Anyway, isn't it a nice way to start the New Year?
Here are a most handsome young couple amongst the crowd outside the church after the ceremony.
Jilly, I do that lot, return to a series of photos that I like or that incite a certain passion.
ReplyDeleteThe scenery in the outdoor scene is really romantic. I love the bride's hair style.
Oh I love a wedding even if I don't know a soul! Can't wait for more. Hope the girls are doing well. I am on my way to your other blog to check.

Lovely young cuple! My best wishes for a very happy new year! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year from Poland;)
ReplyDeleteHi Jilly - Thanks for your response to my New Year post. I had to bring Mum back to SDydney - she had been staying with us a few days - so was at home last night. We caght the train up, and apart from her having a fall (which is happening more lately) - in which she was unharmed, it was a relaxing way to travel. We got driven 2 hrs to Nowra to the station, then about 2 hrs in the train.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, about cameras - I did seriously consider the panasonic for the zoom reasons, and had remembered that was your choice. But then I decided that because I have to carry my camera with me to and from work every day in my handbag etc I would go for the compact. I did look at the 10 x zoom SX110 but everyone in camera shops said it just doesn;t have the clarity of pics the Ixus does, and I thought I'd compromise on the zoom - who knows maybe I'll regret it! BUT I think what I might do is save up and get a second camera with a longer zoom for special photography expeditions, when I', not juggling the lunch box, files and other detritus on the train to work!
Love, Sally.
It was at that time that I discovered your blog & loved every photo of the wedding. I still remember the lovely couple, the cutest children, the hot young woman & the guitarist. I'm thrilled to see more.
ReplyDeleteI'm just now getting around to wishing you a Happy New Year! Your photos continue to excite me because of the subject matter, beauty, and skill!
ReplyDeleteI remember your wedding series and loved it. I loved the shoes you took and when I went to the family wedding in Montreal, I tried to capture some lovely shoes...harder to do than one would think..what with the sun and shadows.....nothing as lovely as what you got.....love this chick's hair
ReplyDeletea wedding is always nice to start off with i agree, happy new year!
ReplyDeleteI like the hair of the lass in the larger photo. She has put such a tremendous amount of effort into the style/design. Whereas the chap has simply shaved his off! Typical ...
ReplyDeleteYes, please. I did so love your wedding shots. Especially of the guy who thought he was God's gift!
I love the bottom photo in the series. It is so alive!
