Same beach as yesterday.
I'm pretty sure barbecues are not allowed on French beaches - certainly in Menton I've never seen one. What you don't see is a massive trailer parked to the left of the young man. We'd had a fairground in town and this trailer was one of the last remaining - perhaps this was a final meal before leaving?
Across the bay, we are looking at Italy.
le retour du printemps avec le retour des barbecues ;o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot with the blue sea amidst background and foreground.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great spring day, why not BBQ.
ReplyDeleteIt is slowly getting to be "that time of year" when smoke will rise from many back yards when beef and pork are tossed on the charcoal grills across America. Until then most of the country is cooking in the kitchen or buying from fast food joints.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, it's forbidden. Imagine in Summer time !
ReplyDeleteLast year, when we were on the beach, suddenly I saw a black pig arriving. He came from one of the trailer of the same fairground. Really weird ! You would have taken a good picture I guess.
mmmm, this post makes me hungry. i can just smell the sea and the smoke and the cooking meat.
ReplyDeletenothing like dining al fresco!
ReplyDeleteNow, if this were Australia, there would be council provided barbecue facilities!
ReplyDeleteHummm, ça donne vraiment envie un petit barbecue !!
ReplyDeleteThey brough that fine looking grill with them? I'm impressed. I am a pretty fair griller myself. I'm envious What were they cooking??
