Do we remember moments from childhood? I hope this little girl never forgets this one shared with her father.

ReplyDeleteLovely photo, Jilly. I'm sure she will remember.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Jilly. And the quote is perfect.
ReplyDeletePerfect quote and image. So few words to write a great post.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, charming photo!
ReplyDeleteI do! I remember going to Musée des Colonies with my Dad on Sunday as a child (less than 4) and being scared by the crocodiles in the vivarium, for instance.
ReplyDeleteEven that young a child remember. Smells, magic, a quickened heartbeat.
Really a moment in time. I hope they both remember it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jilly. This photo and caption made me a little misty. So gently poignant.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Jilly,
ReplyDeleteAs Abe said, I think it's a shared moment, and both will remember it. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth living these beautiful moments.
Wonderful view and perspective
ReplyDeleteThe blue is truely beautiful

I remember all the moments I had like this with my father. There were many. I'm sure this daughter will recall hers with her papa
ReplyDeletebeautiful moment. candid shots are my favorite. it would be lovely for them to have such a beautiful photograph.
ReplyDeleteVery touching indeed.
ReplyDeleteFor me like Virginia's images of people you do these best. You have a real affinity for people and it sshines through the images. It's a dying art capturing people naturally. Well done.
