Thank you Jilly, for the link. I've had the visit of Nathalie. And going on her blog, I discovered how talented she is as a photographer. I understand now, what you said with her special "light and shade" skill. Blogging is so rewarding !
I showed this picture to our granddaughter who lives with us and asked if these were the kind of skates she uses at school and she replied that they only have the old fashioned kind with two wheels in front and two in back.
I also enjoyed the portrait of the man with the blue eyes.
Thanks for your lovely comments re my birthday. I have really enjoyed lookign at your latest people series, even if not commenting. Yesterday's portrait was stunning.
une aventuriere en roller avec les couleurs de barbie ;o) c'est mignon (moi je sais pas en faire, je ne tiens pas dessus)
ReplyDeleteShe needs a helmet too! Great portrait yesterday, these eyes...
ReplyDeleteWhat a contrast with yesterday post, very nice images.
ReplyDeleteThis photo brings me very happy memories...
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the roller versions that we looked at for my granddaughter the other day, but we bought another one. Still pink of course!!
ReplyDeleteShe is well equipped !
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! The pink outfits................we all love them.
ReplyDeleteYes, pink is an obligation.
ReplyDeleteAnd a complete equipment too.
Maybe, they'll remember that moment as much as I remember my first step on roller skate (with leather straps at this time ! ) at the sacré-coeur. A great moment.
