Nathalie's Menton - Alyssa
On our last day, we went up to the medieval village of Gorbio to see the baptism of two village children, Alyssa and Kylian. Here you see Nathalie's beautiful portrait of little Alyssa before the ceremony.

Wasn't she the sweetest thing ever, that little Alyssa? A real joy to watch.
ReplyDeletebravo, beau portrait de la petite Alyssa (et puis un beau prénom)
ReplyDeleteOh! She is adorable!
ReplyDeleteA very striking portrait. The baby looks on the verge of a smile.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie! And I love her headband.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dear photograph. The baby looks so wise, somehow. And the mother so doting. And the colors here are so soft and tender. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteVery cute baby and sadly not all of them are.
ReplyDeleteAt least, she'll get a wonderful picture of that memorable Day.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, the fairy-photographer-Jilly bent over your cute little face.
Aaaw, she's such a cutie! I love that floral headband on her.
ReplyDeleteNathalie, I would have been snapping away on this one myself. She is just precious, and I love baby portraits when they are a tiny bit serious or pensive. The lace headband is a new on for me. Our babies using have French handsewn bonnets ! Great job.

This baby was indeed outstandingly sweet tempered throughout the whole service and afterwards in her second change of dress.
ReplyDeleteThe remarkable thing was the christening itself and the presence of so many as we may later see in the photos of the interior of the church, with all the congregation surrounded by the wonderful baroque decoration.
One gets the impression sometimes that christenings are going out of fashion, but not here.
le portrait est beau mais c'est normal avec un petit bout comme ça
ReplyDeleteAh, the unfiltered beauty of childhood innocence! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful capture. I have immensely enjoyed all of your photos.
ReplyDeleteSo Cute! I'm really enjoying my stay at your gallery. Very nice pictures.
