La Ronde des Plages - the Dancer
Watch the girl on the left. She's brilliant at handing out bottles of water to the needy runners as they approach the finish line - she's almost a dancer.
She is one of 140 volunteers at La Ronde des Plages, all of whom did a brilliant job.
I love all three of these shots. There is so much information in them. All the discarded bottles of water on the ground in that first shot. It's a wonder none of the runners fell. And the look of concentration on the faces of the spectators. That extraordinarily tatooed back on one of the runners. The sloshing water. And of course that water ballet. Wonderful, Jilly.
j'adore la première photo, la femme qui donne la boisson a une allure de danseuse. bien vu
ReplyDeleteje viens de lire ton texte (et le comprendre) c'est ce que tu as ecris ;o)
ReplyDeleteAnd doing her ballet exercises at the same time. Brings a whole new meaning to mutli tasking
ReplyDeleteShe's a dancer for sure! How could she possibly place her feet that way otherwise? You've got such a good eye, Jilly!
ReplyDeleteSome people can do two things at once. Looks like a new ballet.

ReplyDeleteWell I hope they all said, "thank you!"
ReplyDeleteShe's very graceful!
And thanks to you Jilly for your visit and comment at my blog!
I've been gone too long. I went all the way back to theme day and caught up. I treasure my visits to Menton. There's something going on, as always!
ReplyDeleteYou caught those moments very well, Jilly!! The girl handing out the water seems like a dancer.
ReplyDeleteCiao
You're also did a brilliant job taking your picture at this special instant, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteShe's a dancer. No doubt.
Oooh, all too much for me! But when I come back to menton I will walk those kilometres!
