A lovely place and the sign isn't bad there either but the tires spoil the flowers. Still, if left there very long the flowers will, eventually, cover the tires up.

It is a lovely set of blooms.

    Whoops? What does PRIVE mean?

  8. It means Private, Abe. it's one in a group of parking places outside a block of apartments.

  9. Those two tires look like two big mouths, open-wide, in a state of wonder...as if they are searching for the rest of the car. This is such a cleverly composed shot, Jilly.

  14. Love the (what is it?) bougainvillea; one of my favorite colors. And the tires stand in contrast!

  15. What kind of flowers are these? Whatever they are, what a great way to beautify a parking lot.
    Thanks Jilly!

  16. To everyone who asked, this is bougainvillea. This is the most common colour and grows very vigorously.

In French, it's almost the same - bougainvillee (with an accent).

  18. I feel that the sign and tires, altho realistic of the modern world, are an intrusion interfering with glorious nature. It's a wonderful capture to depict society.

  19. How beautiful. I love bougainvillea (of course it's far too cold for it up here, apart from in the greenhouses in the Botanic Gardens).
