“Nothing that grieves us can be called little: by the eternal laws of proportion a child's loss of a doll and a king's loss of a crown are events of the same size”

  1. First of all, I love the quote that goes with the photo! The photo, while reminding me of similar washings and dryings I've done for my kids, reminds me of more sinister hangings/impalings in the Middle Ages!! :>)

  4. It really does capture your attention, doesn't it? A bit on the creepy side at first impression, but then when you look at their expressions you can really let the imagination roll!!:) It's the little things in life (like noticing scenes like this one) that add spice to the daily monotony, really. Thanks for sharing.

  5. This one is just a little bit creepy. A fine photograph, but it has a rather unnerving effect.

  17. Well no fear. I can tell you that I washed and scrubbed my daughters' babies many times. They need a good cleaning from time to time. I love this image I guess because I have those memories. And as Peter said, "Not real babies"! Thankfully
