one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
I walked right past this crib, thinking it was simply a Christmas door decoration.
Later, on my return, there it was - a bright red ring box displaying the tiniest nativity scene I've ever seen.

on dirait un vrai bijoux, c'est splendide
ReplyDeleteSo so tiny, Jilly but the silver and the red together so feed off each other!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you took a second look!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a jewel box!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, in a ring box, how tiny!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before but I'm amazed at the creativity of all local inhabitants. This walk is so much fun I think I'll have to visit you in December next year (this year!)
Great idea Nathalie!
ReplyDeleteSo tiny and so dear. I love the door as well!

Now, this one I like!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so small!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely catch! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Jilly!
Really pretty amazing. So tiny.
ReplyDeleteThe quaint custom of the Crib is beautiful. What a lovely surprise along your wanderings.
ReplyDeleteI also agree the door has a lot of character. They remind me of the ones I have seen all around Geneve & Annecy.
What lovely surprises you encounter on your wanderings through these old towns.
ReplyDeleteI also love this one with the beautiful wrought iron doors. They remind me of the ones I have seen around Geneve & Annecy.
