one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
The sea is still unsettled after all that rain - rocks and pebbles have been washed up the beach. No surfers today. We're looking towards the Old Town of Menton and beyond is Italy.

sympathique, une petite carte postale, profite bien de ce 'beau' temps. Ici neige neige
ReplyDeleteYes the water does look very dirty. Is that a Jack Russell?
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty nippy! Is that one of your dogs?
ReplyDeleteJulie, yes he's a Jack Russell. There are a lot in this part of France.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bibi, no he's not one of my dogs. I just noticed him and his owners sitting on the wall and took the snap. Didn't even ask his name on this occasion, although usually I ask the name of a dog.
I rode along there quite a lot between Christmas and New Year and I was often surprised at what was thrown onto the road by the sea when it was windy.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful picture and brings back wonderful memories!
Rocteur, you really did have pretty bad weather whilst you were here. Much much colder than usual and of course so much rain, other than the few days when it held off. I hope for your next trip, Menton will be restored to its normal blue skies and then we can all complain about the heat.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that restless sea offered up any surprises or treasures.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly not a day for the beach.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit windy today.
ReplyDeleteHot, cold, rainy, sunny, the coast always looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is really a lovely photo. Very relaxing and comfortable.
ReplyDeleteaww your dog looks like mine except she's mostly black :-)
ReplyDeleteThese two photos make me appreciate even more why I love my Aussie beaches. Golden sands without the rubble.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I still love your photos Jilly thats why I keep logging on & your Blue door in the other photo looks very welcoming.
