Corny?

Reflection in a motor-bike mirror. Perhaps a corny image? I fear it is, but I quite liked the way the tree and blue sky stood out against the background.

You see the reality of the reflection in the smaller photo - a tree near the entrance to the cemetery. Just below the tree you'll always find one or more motorbikes parked - the Mairie has even provided iron rings, fixed into the ancient walls, ready for owners to secure their bikes with a chain.

  2. Oh, no, not corny at all. Quite beautifull and well-framed. I need to jog my brain to see things differently....getting into a rut.

  10. It almost looks like the veins you can see in eyeballs sometimes. Actually, I find it a little bit on the creepy side.

  11. Not in the slightest. The spare image is quite poignant, as if we could isolate a circle of winter from the rest of the world.

  13. I'd love to see this in black and white, almost a fractal image. I could not earn a living with the odd touch of corn, but it's the way you do it and this is spot on.

  16. Thanks so much for all the comments and that you didn't think it corny, or right, even if it is, it doesn't matter. And Babooshka, I tried it in B and W after I read your suggestion and it does look good although I think the blue sky won me over in the end.
