Today we are in the
Jardin Biovès looking at the static displays. The annual
Fête du Citron has been featured on this blog each year since 2007, but for anyone seeing it for the first time, the frame is created in metal, wire covers the frame which forms the shape. Later, volunteers cover the frame with oranges and lemons. Each piece of fruit is fixed with a rubber band. We'll see the details of this in a few days.
WOW, that IS really UNIQUE, and must have taken quite some time to create!!
ReplyDeleteYou could make some juicy movies with this camera!
ReplyDeletesuperbe thème cet année, la camera est magnifique.
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of the year again? How time flies!
ReplyDeleteI love Dina's comment! ;)
How extraordinary! The Mediterranean coast just there is my favourite part. How lucky you are to be able to live there.
ReplyDeleteThis camera is really rolling! I think I'm going to have to lay in a stock of oranges while you run this series. Such delicious images.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a camera I would like to have!
ReplyDeleteI, for one, never get tired of seeing it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious, juicy picture!
ReplyDeleteI want to see a close up of the rubber band technique! I can't figure it out. THis is gorgeous. I do hope these oranges etc. are donated later. A shame for this much fruit to go to waste.
