Jewels in the Sun

The snow .... going, going, gone! The remains of a vine that hangs from the terrace roof slowly loses its gift of snow.

  1. What delicate beauty you've captured here, all the more precious because it is fleeting.

  2. We never saw sun yesterday so I couldn't try this shot. Today its still cold and nothing has melted. I am bracing myself for a trip downtown to photograph granddaughters running the Kids Merecedes Run this am.!! Brrrr Tomorrow am their mom will do a relay in the Mercedes Marathon. Another photo morning!

  3. So beautiful, Jilly, and I hope to see similar images in Belgrade soon, for all the snow you had fell here last night!

  5. At first I thought this was a shot of the first blossoms! How beautiful these snow crystals look. I am craving that blue sky above!

  6. I love when the ice and snow accumulates like such. It makes for perilous travel conditions, but wonderful photo opportunities :-) These are really pretty.

  7. Gorgeous photos Jilly!
Melting snow is rarely photographed yet what beauty lies here! The deep blue sky does it, and so do the intricate lace design of the vine and the sparkling ice.

Now all we need is WARMTH!
