Cochons and cabbages

One of the stalls in the main food market sells brocante as well as fruit and vegetables.

'Pork and two veg, please!'

  2. What a curious combination.
From the thumbnail, I feared it might be a real pig's head. Eeuw.

  4. Yes Dina! My comment about pork and two veg is slightly tongue in cheek (excuse the pun) as I don't eat meat!

  6. I think that stony pig might have to be slow roasted for a very, very, very long time. But the onions should be lovely.

  8. Je vois le cochon, but not 'les choux'!

Oignons, oui...et des blettes, c'est bien ca?

Interesting combination of 'brocante' and veggies; none of that here, at least not so side-by-side.

  9. Bibi, well spotted - yes the green leaves are blettes, but it didn't rhyme with cochons!
