Beautiful photo. We took hundreds of photos of windows in these little nooks the las time we were in Provence. What is it about them that makes us just say "Ah....."?
This is a great shot Jilly. The composition and the angle, not to mention the fabulous colors here are just terrific. I would have been right beside you trying this same shot! :) ( well I wish!)
Great photo choice to illustrate your quote. I particularly like the iron railing and the lantern.
ReplyDeletebelle photo, avec une superbe citation. La couleur "orange" sur le mur est tres belle, j'aime beaucoup
ReplyDeleteLovely composition and colors....how true is Leger's quote...and I am aching to see color here....still gray...though there's a blue sky.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving us this rich and beautiful color to live by.

ReplyDeleteWhen I compare these houses to mine, I wonder how we, parisians, succeed to survive.
ReplyDeleteMaybe my regular visits to Menton, and my memories, help......
Magnifique, Jilly! Le Sud va reprendre ses couleurs, avec le soleil qui est de retour !
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Jilly. It has all the elements I look for in a detail/color photograph. It's even gorgeous in a thumbnail...

ReplyDeleteThanks for your very kind comment on my blog today!
Now, more color, please?
Some colours just get better with age, like some people, and fine wine.
