one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
Yesterday's post and the body beautiful brought forth much discussion - so by way of contrast here are two ladies from the Venetian part of the procession - and with their clothes on!

Wow. The second lady has quite a lot of clothes on. That hat looks heavy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, gorgeous, simply gorgeous! The costumes, the photos, the angles...all of it simply gorgeous..again!! I love your 'eye' and thank you so very much for your simply beauty and elegance!
ReplyDeleteGood morning,

très charmante la jeune fille sur la première photo, et beau masque sur la deuxième
ReplyDeleteOh, just too cool. That second lady's hat is a true inspiration...Easter bonnet?
ReplyDeleteThis second post is amazing... made of yarn?
ReplyDeleteWhat if the hat of the woman in your second photo today had been worn by the woman you showed yesterday. Now that would be a sight.
ReplyDeleteIf Aretha Franklin sees your blog, she might have that had made for her if she performs at the second inauguration if President Obama is re-elected. It is the same color, but so much larger, than the hat that she wore that sparked so much interest last year.
And I thought you were going to say it was the same girl.
ReplyDeleteJilly, these are charming and intriguing all at once. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteOh these are charming Jilly. I love them both. Extravagant and over the top and oh so fabulous.

Jilly,
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos... love the nose in photo #1
Well, the first one could have been sent by Central Casting for Pirates of the Caribbean. The second one, well. maybe the West Village in NYC on a Saturday night.
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificient hat. I wonder what is more fun...seeing the parade or being in it!
ReplyDeletetime I dropped in for a look. I'm liking the nice detail and the pleasant DoF here. Assume this is the new Lumix. If so, nicely managed, J. It's working well in oyur hands.
