one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
A covered terrace in a hidden corner of the Old Town. Perhaps not quite what we have in mind when we think of a balcony or terrace on the French Riviera.

Beutiful photo. It looks like a birds home.
ReplyDeleteScary ;-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe with a little bit of paint...? (In the old town of Menton, I would accept any kind of terrace or balcony.)
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the person who might come out on this balcony. And what the view from it might be.
ReplyDeletePerhaps not the stereotypical image of the Riviera, but it is a an interesting shot - and similar images could be composed from many of the nooks and crannies of the old towns across France.
ReplyDeleteInteresting 'underbelly' to other angles of the Riviera.
ReplyDeleteThat would be my luck! Buy a flat in Menton and arrive to this place in need of a lot of TLC! I think I'd take it anyway.

I guess the town's building inspector was taking a day off the day this was approved.

Great seen and shot...

I think I would be afraid of the rusty floor. It might hide something and have no other use.
ReplyDeleteAgree that it's dangerous-looking, but I guess if I could afford the place, I could afford to get it redone!
ReplyDeleteBut then perhaps the view from there is quite nice, even though I understand it doesn't face the sea?
