We're back at the brocante shop,
'Allo Robert,' to see a row of old bottles on a windowsill. Through the not too clean window we see a little of Menton's glorious colours.
The smaller photo - taken with flash which I generally don't choose to use - shows more clearly what was once in those bottles.
'A
Ricard, anyone?'
Like you, I try to avoid using flash, unless in a fill-in role. Today's photos are a good illustration. The available light photo captures the mood and lighting quite well.
ReplyDeleteI too prefer the photo without the flash. It's a really nice photo, and I love the backdground!

ReplyDeleteBottles of Ricard or Pernod and I have shared many a happy moment. I think there's still a bit of Pernod in one of my bottles...hmmm...will go see.
ReplyDeleteLove the lighting in the first photo.
love that first shot...those bottles look almost like an old musical instrument.
ReplyDeleteRobert !! Un Martini bianco, ti prego.
ReplyDeleteFun to see the old bottles, but then, I like antiques, too! Show us an antique store - I have antique stores posted today on the EAGAN daily photo
ReplyDeleteI think that each technique serves a purpose though. I enjoyed looking at the labels as well as the more aesthetic top photo.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that top photo Jilly. Well done.
