I wish someone would give this old horse a home. He's lost a leg but it's there - hanging off the frame. He's waiting...waiting...waiting...
'Do not confuse motion and progress. A rocking horse keeps moving but does not make any progress.'

I once toured the Barrango factory in South San Francisco where they make carrousels. It was delightful. This horse needs to go in for a check up.
ReplyDeleteHe looks lovely even without a leg. Those toys should be restorated to their original beauty.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, Jilly!!
you've caught the longing in his eye.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful quote to go with this one. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteDespite its appearance, this horse is full of character; great face!
ReplyDeleteI think I love Allo Robert! I certainly love your photos of it.

ReplyDeletepoor old nag - at least he must have had some love over the years.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Petrea, I think Allo Robert seems like a wonderful place to spend a lot of time just looking around and perhaps a few photos as well? You did a nice job on this old fellow Jilly.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter mon amie,
