What is it with these Italians? Especially in spring.
This photo of lovers in the main square of Apricale reminds me of a favourite photo I took in Turin a couple of years ago - you see it on the left.
I have such happy memories of my time in Turin when Fabrizio of
Torino Daily Photo so kindly showed me around his wonderful city. This is for you, dear Fabrizio.
Ah, Spring. Each of these is priceless, Jilly. Not only are they packed with interesting detail but the way you've caught the focal human forms makes them look almost fluid.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos enhanced by the b/w, but I have to ask...did you thank Fabrizio like this? :)
ReplyDeleteAs you know Jilly I've ever said that nobody like you is able to take street photos that, in other words, they are great piece of life. As you know either, I ever found that photo you captured in Torino, one of the best I've ever seen. Thank you, thank you so much about the moving tribute to Torino and me.
ReplyDeleteSuch sweet images! And meeting a friend from blogland - really great.
ReplyDeleteBibi,now that would be telling...!
ReplyDeleteWhew! Well now....... what wonderful images. La sigh!
ReplyDeleteAnd a nice tribute to our dear Fabrizio whom I would dearly love to meet in person one day as well!
