Nathalie, I so agree about the good company - meaning you! But no I didn't crop the photo. I remember your saying you liked it as it is - that feeling of a wide format so apart from a fraction - barely a centimetre - taken off the left, it stayed as it was.
Oh and what a beautiful dream it is --- and yes it is nice to share the dream with other like minded people. Glad it had extra glasses. Can one really take a bad picture there, I wonder? Have not seen one yet and probably never will.
Jilly, We photographers can second guess ourselves can't we! I agree with Nathalie, it is just right. He seems pretty content. Perhaps his life is as good as it seems to us! V
Ah, I missed the extra glasses upon first glance and only realised when the comments drew my attention to them. My first thought was that he was dreaming his dream alone. I do hope that was not the case ...
cela donne envie ;)
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteI love the composition and the "framing" too.
He is someone to envy! Are those extra glasses his....or did he have company? :)
ReplyDeleteHe must have had company, Bibi. I rather wondered the same at first.
ReplyDeleteOh Jilly I was thinking of this photo this morning, hoping you would post it soon. I just love it!
ReplyDeleteYour composition is just right.
Living the dream yes... but it gets even better in good company and that's what I had when I visited Menton. I lived the dream!
And I can see you did crop the photo to give it a "wide screen" format.
ReplyDeleteIt works beautifully. You get a feeling of being at the movies when you see this photo!

Cool catch !
ReplyDeleteYou've captured this so beautifully. Whether he wakes up from this dream or not, there will always be this moment because you've preserved it.
ReplyDeleteAll he needs is a Bentley!
ReplyDeleteI;d give ANYTHING to step into this guy's shoes this minute!
ReplyDeleteEven if he is a guy...
Loverly photo
