one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
Life goes on, probably much the same as it has for hundreds of years in the medieval village of Gorbio.

These shots are so full of life, aren't they, Jilly. The continuity is what I get from this. Her connection with place and your connection with her.
ReplyDeleteWell recorded.
Interesting and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhy we love your life, too. Excellent post, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteLife may seem like it goes on unchanged in a medieval village, except you are an ambassador for the area, showing it to your followers around the world on the internet. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThough I've never been to Menton, because of you I love it and enjoy visiting with the sights, sounds and people every day. A great photo.
ReplyDeleteOh yes indeed this is a wonderful slice of Gorbio you've captured. And you know Jilly, what could be more wonderful than to be able to honestly say that you love the life you have!!!

Beautiful picture!
ReplyDeleteThis is really lovely. I look at it and think of the many different people who have gone up or down this same road.
ReplyDeleteEven if you did not have a blogfull of photos, this one picture would show why you love your life.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with Jerusalem, her every stone.
Old towns are easy to love.
Thanks everyone for such lovely comments. As Dina said, old towns are so easy to love. My best friend who lives in Ohio, when she visits, she goes and hugs the old stones, leans against them, feels the years thru them.
ReplyDeleteJilly,
ReplyDeleteMy wish is to hug those stones one day as well.:)
