Today, we are inside the wisteria-clad pergola at
Le Clos du Peyronnet and so is Prickle, William Waterfield's little Jack Russell terrier. Prickle is on hand to welcome every visitor to this beautiful garden but at this moment, she's off for a nap...
Oh, Jilly, isn't it beautiful the way the wisteria trunk embraces that column. Such a fine composition...and made complete by Prickle.
ReplyDeletePrickle is a lucky dog to have such a beautiful garden to enjoy.
ReplyDeletePrickle is indeed, a lucky dog!!!
ReplyDeleteI can feel the warmth and smell the sweet wisteria!
ReplyDeleteTwo delights in one! Good bye Prickle, have a nice nap! These are gorgeous Jilly. Our Birmingham wisteria is getting tired but I"m still enjoying every minute.

My jaw is dropping at the beauty of this one, Jilly.
ReplyDeleteI love this garden. How wonderful that the family makes it open for others to enjoy the considerable beauty and charm. And that you've brought us in to enjoy it too. This shots are immediately present and we are following Prickle and perhaps will find a chair in a sunny spot to just sit and soak this all in.
ReplyDeleteI think I will make some tea and use my grandma's wisteria tea set she gave me and go sit with a cup in the garden for a bit here while the sun is peaking out and the birds are singing. :-)

Prickle is the best pet name ever!
