Those gorgeous Arabians were in Menton over the weekend for the annual Mediterranean and Arab Countries Arabian Horse Championship.

This young colt and handler are in the holding ring.

  5. Like Dina, I was a Black Stallion girl. Arabians are so elegant, so perfectly chiseled, and just the right size for me. What class, too.

  9. He has the unmistakeable head structure of an Arabian. Julie and I enjoy going to the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Festival in the winter, and she has posted photos of it in the past on her Scottsdale Daily Photo site. I am sure that an Arabian Horse show ont he Riviera would be quite an event.

  11. Another Black Stallion and horse fan here. What beautiful animals these Arabians are.

I love how you contrasted the colt's dark nose/mouth with the lightness of its body, along with capturing that distinctive Arabian profile. Wonderful shot. Thank you.
