one of the most beautiful towns on the French Riviera
Look first at the photographer below. That's the camera I need to take a good shot. Never mind, the best I could do on a dull day. The boat is the starter boat about to let them go on this particular heat.

Ah, camera envy... I know it well. And yet I suspect your equipment is not too shoddy.
ReplyDeleteJilly, I think you've probably got a pretty good telephoto lens--much better than mine! But brattcat said the words: "camera envy." I know, I know.
ReplyDeleteBrattcat and Petrea, the truth is I couldn't manage a camera this size if I tried. I like a little camera that I can carry around all the time. Those long lenses are SO heavy. The zoom isn't bad on mine but obviously not remotely the quality necessary for a shot like this. No matter...
ReplyDeleteI agree. I've gotten used to my camera, though I still envy all that equipment.
ReplyDeleteCamera envy, lens envy...as the instructors at TriCommunity always say, the eye behind the camera is more important than the camera!!! (But just watch one of them if anyone messes with their equipment!)
